Sažetak
Interactivity is a keyword in describing the difference between Web and other media. Web journalism mainly does not recognise that difference, and is still dependent on traditional media. The information published on Web is brought to the Web, maybe well designed for the Web, but not thought for the Web. The main difference between the Web journalism and the journalism on the other media may therefore consist in the use of Web’ s interactivity and in possibility to offer individual and customised information. Very rare are the papers (as Rome la Repubblica daily), or other information media, which point on interactivity in their daily contact with its web readers. The transformation of the “ media on the Web” in “ Web journalism” is slow because the Web journalism does not have its own strong market. Therefore it remains a corollary of the mainstream journalism. Anyway, the essence of journalism remains the same, regardless of the kind of information media. The Web journalism has to take all the knowledge, rules, and tricks, from the traditional journalism, because the art of telling the story remains the same, from Cicero’ s time till nowadays. What changes is the timing.
