Sažetak
The article deals with analytical determination of stresses and displacements and some other fracture mechanics parameters, such as: the crack tip opening displacement (CTOD) and the magnitude of the plastic zone around a crack tip, in thin infinite cracked plates. The plates are loaded biaxially at the infinity, while the crack surface is free of loading. It is supossed that the magnitude of applied loading will be caused the appearrance of the plastic deformations in the neighbourhood of the crack tip. In this paper are used the analytical methods based on the theory of the functions of a compley variable. For describing of the plastification process in an infinite plate with an embedded crack the Dugdale strip yield model originally based on the Tresca yield criterion has been utilized. The influence of the remote normal traction which is parallel to the crack surface, on those parameters, has also been investigated. In connection with this purpose, it has been necessaryly to modify the original Dugdale strip yield model and to apply the von Mises yield criterion.
