Sažetak
The talk will attempt to provide support for an assumption that students' evaluations provide an effective means of improving teaching and that action research and action learning may be an appropriate avenue for the empowerment of teaching. The talk is not offering a solution or panacea but rather opening a debate. Hopefully, this is a contribution to the growing body of research of SETs (Student Evaluation of Teaching) and teaching effectiveness.
