Sažetak
A verbal conflict between the Austrian emperor Franz Joseph I and J.J.Strosmayer in Bjelovar 1888. made the background for the "Bjelovar Affair", where the political disagreement between the emperor Franz Joseph I and Strossmayer's cocept of a religius develploment of Slavis people and possible unification of churches was used by Budapest's and Vienna's newspapers in order to disqualify their rival and the remove him from the political scene of Croatia.
