Sažetak
During the last ten years, though the efforts to comprehensively describe biodiversity of lepidopteran fauna of Croatia, systematic analysis of various collections yielded significant faunal contribution on this group of insects. This paper gives faunal and zoogeographical reviews on lepidopterous collection of Faculty of Foresty in Zagreb. Because of the broadness of this collections only data on family Noctuidae is given, since other lepidopterous groups, chiefly Rhopalocera, Bombyces and Sphinges, Geometridae and Microlepidoptera, are presently being analysed and will be presend in due time. 1200 specimens were taxonomicaly checked and among these 163 species were determinated. From the faunal viewpoint, Orthosia populi Fab. i Hyssa cavernosa Ever. were the two most interesting species. Dominance of Eurasiatic species reflects the fact that most of the collection sites are situated in continental regions of Croatia.
