Sažetak
Immunological and immunogenetic aspects of the multiple sclerosis were analyzed in 66 patients, clinically definite cases of the disease. According to the stage of the disease patients where divided in two groups: active and stable disease. Blood and cerebrospinal fluid specimens were analysed for lymphocyte subpopulations (active-T, total-T and B), immunoglobulins, antiviral antibodies and autoantibodies. Active disease patients blood is deficient in active-T comparing with stable phase and control. The level of total-T is also lower, but not that remarkably. There is not difference between patients and neurologic controls for antiviral antibodies. Unexpectedly, cerebrospinal T-lymphocytes are lower comparing with their level in the blood. Furthermore, HLA typing of the patients does not show any difference in the frequency of A3 and B7 comparing with the controls.
