Sažetak
This paper describes the development of a simulation model of a four-quadrant converter in AC traction drives. The functions of each of the major components of the system have been analyzed. The parameters of the model have been chosen in a way that it will be possible to build the prototype using IGBT modules with blocking voltage of 3.3kV. The model is constructed using SIMPLORER/Schematic graphical simulation platform.
