Sažetak
The data about the frequency of the heart while quiet, of the distolic pressure, of the systolic pressure and the Lorenzo test after 6 months, after 12 months and after 18 months, as well as the estimates about the success in playing 36 games, have been gathered on the sample of 24 pioneers who play football actively in teh age of 12 - 14 years. The relations have been established between the applied indicators of the functional capabilities and the estimates of the success in football by means of the series of regressive analysis. A significant positive connection and the influence of the Lorenzo test have been obtained, mainly in the first 8 of total of 12 games, which is probably the consequence of the insufficient volume of work in the preparatory period.
