Sažetak
Reports of pictures of lipomatosis with neurological manifestations are not numerous. The authors describe two such cases. In the first case a benign symmetrical lipomatosis on the neck is associated with epilepsy, hypogonadism, steatocirrhosis, hypertonia and mosaicism in the karyotype. In the second case a generalized lipomatosis is associated with a picture resembling peroneal muscular atrophy. Among the patient's closer relatives two uncles are suffering from the same illness, and from among the others there are some with general lipomatosis, epilepsy and oligophrenia. The origin of neurological menifestations in lipomatosis is not yet explained. To the current interpretations we add the possibility of a genetic substrate in our cases as being the source of this syndromic tandem.
