Sažetak
Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a skin disorder which develops within the first years of life and is active to manifestations of the disease (polygenic hereditary disease diathesis) with a thershold for precipitationg factors: allergens, nutrition allergy and intolerance reactions to food, staphylococcal infections, housing condition, domestic animals and psychological factors. The aim of this study was to make some relevant parameters in diagnosis of 30 atopic dermatitis patients. Methods. Complete anamnestic data according Hanifin and Rajka in 30 patients aged 1-17 years ; skin reactivity was evaluated by prick and scratch testing ; values of total IgE by RIST and specific IgE by CAST-ELISA. Results. In young children was found concordance between history of disease skin testing and CAST-ELISA results on allergens: egg, milk, dermatophagoides, dog and cat dander, but in older children were much more positive reaction on other nutritive allergens. Conclusion. We consider, therfore, that it is important to explain a clinical picutre of AD including accompanying allergies and a distrubance of the immune deviation.
