Sažetak
The thesis examines self-employment in contemporary Croatia. Using Labour Force Survey data for year 2003, four substantially different strands of self-employment were identified, in terms of job characteristics, worker characteristics, remuneration and job quality as well as entry and exit patterns. Those groups are : small employers, self-employed business owners, self-employed without registered business and self-employed in agriculture.
