Sažetak
"The Role of the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde (Vienna) in the preservation of Croatian tradition" Being researching in the Archive of the "Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Vienna", looking for some specific artefacts, I was astonished how much of the sources which are very important for the knowledge on Croatian traditional music are kept in this Archive. Especially it was the case with the whole of the "Sonnleithner Sammlung", in that time also published by Walter Deutsch and Gerlinde Hofer (now Heid ; first part of the text) as the elaborated list. It was clear how great the role of that materials could be in the preservation of the Croatian tradition, even as the one of the tool for the preventing the "loss" of tradition. I have reported on a few findings, also some of them published, such as dances in one Split source (The manuscript source "Balli nazionali d'Illyrio, e specialmente di Spalato"), on Moresca, Combatimento Nazionale (in Larissa, in Korčula), on Borkovich collection with historical elaborations (in Sheffield), etc. Prof. Rudolf Flotzinger presented an overview - "Kroatishes in der Wiener Sonnleithner-Sammlung (in: Glazba, riječi i slike, Svečani zbornik za Koraljku Kos / Music, words, and images, Essays in honour of Koraljka Kos, Hrvatsko muzikološko društvo, Zagreb, 1999, 219-233.).
