Sažetak
One hundred sex pollens were identified in a melissopalynological study of sixty-four honeys from Croatia. The most important plants giving unifloral honeys were Amorpha fruticosa, Arbutu unedos, Asparagus, Astragalus, Apiaceae Gr. H, Castanea sativa, Erica arborea, E.manipuliflora, E. multiflora, Hedera helix, Lotus, Melilotus, Paliurus, Robinia pseudacacia, Rosmarinus officinaliss, Salix, Salvia officinalis, Satureja, Tilia, Trifolium repens, Trigonella and honeydews honeys. Eighty rare pollens completed the pollen spectra of these honeys, well characterized for their botanical and geographical origin. Since this work contributes only a little to knowledge about the bee plants of this country, further investigations will be required to complete the list of the plants foraged by bees in Mediterranean Croatia.
