Sažetak
Quantitative morphometrical analysis was performed on archival paraffin-embedded blocks of tumor tissue in 75 patients with malignant mesenchymal uterine neoplasms. Analyisis was performed on 25 leiomyosarcomas, 20 endometrial high grade stromal sarcomas, and 30 MMMT. Univariate analyisis for leiomyosarcomas showed statistical significance for AgNOR number in tumor cells, nuclear area/status, mitotic activityhistologic type and clinical stage of disease. By multivariate analysis AgNOR number in tumor cells was the only significant parameter according to the patient survival. Univariate analyisis for endometrial stromal sarcomas showed statistical significance for nuclear area/AgNOR area ratio, nuclear AgNOR area, and clinical stage of disease.Univariate analyisis for MMMT showed statistical significance for AgNOR number in tumor cells, nuclear area/AgNOR area ratio, and clinical stage of disease. For stromal sarcomas and MMMTmultivariate nalaysis showed AgNOR number in tumor cells as the only significant parameter according to survival.
