Sažetak
Summer tourism events are a part of tourism offer, which help the tourists to please the needs and motives of their arrival to a certain tourism destination.They are also an indicator of tourism spending increase.Management of summer tourism events influences, with all of their functions and activities, the formation of total quality of tourist destination offer or an event which with its content forms and influences quality level of tourism experience of tourists. Thesis of the work is that summer tourism events, as a part of tourist offer, add to tourism spending and influence the increase of tourists' greater and better experience of the destination.Model which develops the stated thesis, and consists of twelve tourism destinations, includes all events offered to tourists during the tourism season.Although the research has been done on twelve respectful and comparable tourism destinations, due to inadequate places and limited working conditions during the tourism season, research was hindered. Aim of research is to establish the importance of tourism events, along with the types and forms of events which are offered to tourists, with the purpose of determining the increase of tourism spending and reaching the level of destination experience and tourism facilities offered to the tourists.Along with the quantitative methods, qualitative methods are also analyzed to determine potential parameters of advantages and downsides of torism events offered during summer months.Moreover, there was a need to find out the extent of tourists' spending during the analyzed event, which induced the tourists to experience the chosen destination better and to fulfill their motives which have brought them to the chosen destination, using a quality model of multiple correlation.
