Sažetak
Every tourism destination has its attributes that are result of its natural resources, historical features, traffic infrastructure, its accommodation offer, restaurant, entertainment and shop offer, and information availability. The quality of each mentioned segment influences at total quality of tourism supply. In order to collect the basic data about Dubrovnik tourism supply the survey was conducted in period from 1st July to 1st August 2004. The survey was conducted in various hotel accommodations with various categories, in private accommodations and in auto camp. The survey pointed out many interesting information and the most interested are: the guest in 5* hotels spends five times more than the guest in private accommodation ; the portion of expenditure for accommodation is the highest in 4* hotel accommodation and the lowest in auto-camp accommodation ; the guest in 5* hotel accommodation spends the most for accommodation, in café bars, in restaurants (especially), for taxi services and for culture activities and for "other" ; in local stores the best consumers are the guests in 4* hotel accommodation and for local bus transportation the best consumers are the guests in private accommodation ; the average "out of board expenses" is 43%, and that indicates that the main financial effects are still generated in accommodation.
