Sažetak
The paper gives the analysis of some of maintenance information systems with similarities and differences in their structure. The importance of the implementation of information systems into time and costs has been pointed out. The authors' experience implementing MIMS (Management Information Maintenance System) accross a variety of industries has shown that the implementation accounts for 60 % of the total cost. The paper also gives possible options for improvement by the elaboration of additional programs that reduce the costs and time in the implementation of MIMS system.
