Sažetak
The Eurocode 7 - Geotechnical Design allows: • geotechnical design by calculation, • design based on prescribed measures, • design by "observational method", • design by load testing, i.e. by model testing. The possibility of using data bases based on a combination of acceptable methods is described in the paper. The nonlinear dependence between technical solutions expressed by normalized coefficients, k1, and, k2, and landslide zones, Fk, has been established based on the analysis of some thirty landslides, 23 of which already improved. The analyzed landslide zones ranged in size from Fkmin = 340 sq.m. to Fkmax = 60, 000 sq.m. The analysis of data-base results has revealed that there is no linear correlational dependence between expressions Fk~k1, Fk~k2, Cu~k1, Cu~k2, Cu~k1/k2 for each of the analyzed zones ranging in size from Fkmin = 340 sq.m. to Fkmax = 60, 000 sq.m. In addition, as the relationship between small, medium-sized and large landslides amounts to 1:5:23 respectively, the only reliable correlational dependence, applied jointly to medium-sized and large landslides, can be expressed as lnFk~k1. Correlational dependences established in this way provide to designers and clients a reliable basis for transparent estimation of technical solutions k1 and k2 and prediction of the total landslide improvement price Cu. According to information available to the authors, no similar proposals have so far been given in international literature.
