Sažetak
On the way to enter the European educational space, The Croatian higher educational system attempts to come to terms with the conclusions of the Bologna Declaration and undertake the reform of the higher education of the Republic of Croatia and introduce ithe ECTS point-system.Intensive activites in connection with the making of the new educational concept have been under way at the teacher trainin colleges, in order to achive the reform of curriculums taking into consideration a few basic principles: single-semestral courses, multidisciplinarity, 3+2+3 or 4+1 study model implementation ( pre-graduate, graduate and postgraduate), students' and teachers' mobility or better to say the internationalisation of teaching in the European context. The intention is to ensume the smootheness of styding and diploma acquiring (together with the diploma supplement) which would be valid throught Europe. The work emphasises this transformation and modernisation of curriculum should not be done without the incorporation of the basic indicators of the educational quality that the EU prescribes, and one of them is the introduction of information contens, which have so far been represented to a small extent, in every curriculum at teacher training colleges. The result of the survey, carried among the students of teacher training college and higher schools, are alsointerpreted and talk about the students' insufficient level of information on actual changes of the higher education in the Republic of Croatia in the spirit of the Bologna Declaration
