Sažetak
The paper analyses South-Eastern enlargement of the EU as a new pan-european policy. Concept of “ Multi-Layered Europe” , based on different level of cooperation and integration, is also being analyzed, and strategic dilemmas concerning current debate on “ Wider Europe” is also being presented. Specific substantial modalities for their realization and successful accession to the EU are also subject of analysis. New generation of association agreements (Stabilisation and Association agreements) is being analyzed along with status of Republic of Croatia in negotiating process, and perspectives of full membership in the EU.
