Sažetak
It is widely believed that dealing with intergroup conflicts of the past is critical to the building of a tolerant, multicultural society in the transition to democracy. Fuelded by the powerful, and understandable moral intuition that those who commit gross human rights violations should be punished, many have fixed upon the criminal trials as a means of reckoning with the past.
