Sažetak
The post-communist period still continues in countries undergoing the transition process, including the East European countries, with all its good or other characterictics of the post-communist mentality. The values of the mother nations and the human race in general can best be tested on their relations towards the small ethnic groups and the manner in which they express their national identity. This is an important element of the civilization level to the Croatian nation and Croatian Diaspora, as well as to the Ukrainian nation, and Ukrainian Diaspora.
