Sažetak
During trocar insertion through the abdominal wall, injuries of the abdominal organs and retroperitoneal blood vessels are possible. The main disadvantage of all trocars is obligatory application of pushing force to the abdominal wall. In order to decrease or avoid using this hardly controllable force, we have constructed a new trocar with a bore shape tip, during which insertion pushing and abdominal wall pressing are avoided. Our first experiences are encouraging. The tip coils find the way through the abdominal wall only by rotation. The pushing force as well as the resulting depression of the abdominal wall has been reduced, which significantly reduced the possibility of trocar “ escaping” .
