Sažetak
The changing industry dynamics and increasing market competition necessitate the implementation of new strategic logistics approaches. The main purpose of this paper is to present one of the most important strategies for delivering products and services quicker and more reliably at less cost and at better quality – outsourcing. The paper examines the implementation of the outsourcing strategy on the Croatian market in the case of the automotive industry. The paper confirms the main hypothesis that the implementation of outsourcing strategy leads to lower costs and increasing quality and service efficiencies. Also, the paper confirms the hypothesis that the outsourcing as the strategy can significantly improve the competitive advantage of the company brand on the local market.
