Sažetak
This paper looks at developments in CEE region regarding FDI. This development starts with an increase of joint ventures by the end of 1980s and continues with transformation of joint ventures to FDI and further increase of FDI in the region. Even though the data shows significant increase of FDI in the region we cannot have a straight forward conclusion that it had a strong and significance influence on growth. Thus, we develop a model using first differences to estimate influence of FDI on growth performance in CEE.
