Sažetak
Two methods for numerical modelling of the sound radiation from a vibrating plate is described in this article. Dynamic response of clamped plate with external point harmonic force excitation is solved applying Virtual Work Principle on equation of bending vibration which is approximated by means of Fourier series expansion of orthogonal shape functions. Acoustical pressures in half space around plate are solved applying Rayleigh’ s integral formula on calculated velocities of infinitesimal areas of plate. The main aim of this article is to confirm accuracy of mentioned method by means of finite element method and infinite elements which are used by computer software’ s MSC. Patran, Nastran and Actran.
