Sažetak
Skin ageing is an aggregate prosess constisting of senile and solar degeneration. Senile degeneration i.e. intrinsic or chronological ageing is a universal feature, where presumable changes are attributable to the passage of time alone. It is mostly genetically determined. Solar degeneration or extrinsic ageing originates from chronic UV exposure and can be avoided. Today there are many possibilities of prevention and postponing of skin solar degenration. Very important are photoprotection and avoidance of actinic exposure together with regular sunscreen application. Also, there are many ways of stimuloating for the repair capacity of damaged skin with topical tretments and abrassive methods in dermatology.
