Sažetak
Two types of carbon steel as delivered, in heat treated state as well as after boronising were exposed to erosion, to corrosion and to erosion corrosion in water, in NaCl water solution and in gas well hydrocarbon condensate without addition and with suspended quartz sand, respectively. The specimens were examined by mechanical tests, by metallography, by mass loss method and by surface analysis. In has been established that erosion and corrosion exert a significant mutual effect on the behaviour of investigated materijals under experimental circumstances. Probable causes of this phenomenon are discussed.
