Sažetak
This study analyses most recent situation in connection with employing disabled persons in Croatia. Its authors first deal with the topic of employing disabled persons in general. Then they put the stated problem into the European context and introduce us to the issue of employing disabled persons in the countries-members of EU, as well as with the measures taken by the Council of Europe. That is at the same time a framework for employment policy in Croatia. The present state is analysed in Croatia, in relation with the judical legislature i.e. the Constitution, Laws, and in a special way the Act of vocational training (professional rehabilitation) and existing stimulative measures imposed by Croatian employment office. Afther that study analyses real situation of employing disabled perosns in Croatia. In the end, the conclusions are derived on how to make improvements in the field of employment of disabled persons in Croatia, because we often find declarative statements only. A lot more work and effort is required in sense of lessening prejudice and integration of disabled persons in the world of labour.
