Sažetak
The aim of this paper is to provide the new approach to the problem of credit risk assessment of enterprises, as a problem of the multi-criteria decision making. Credit risk assessment is very important and complex area of financial management. It demands to investigate a large number of financial indicators of enterprises and to include them at the same time. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used to determine the weight values of the eleven criteria - financial indicators from the three main criteria groups: profitability, liquidity and solvency of the enterprises. PROMETHEE I and II and GAIA are used for ranking and comparing a great number of Croatian enterprises according to the credit risk assessment.
