Sažetak
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, "Wunderkind" child prodigy and one of the greatest music geniuses ever, was born in 1756 in Salzburg, Austria. His medical history and causes of his death have been subject of various publications in popular, musicological or medical literature. No autopsy was performed and there is no medical documentation preserved that would be acceptable by current scientific standards. During his life he suffered from various infective diseases. Rheumatic fever, post-streptococcal glomerulonephritis, head trauma, poisoning, psychiatric disorders etc. are considered in this paper with special emphasis on possible neurological disorders pointing to Gilles de la Tourette syndrome, epilepsy and sub(extra'?)dural haematoma I1c died at the age of 35 in Vienna in 1791. The cause of his death still remains controversial.
