Sažetak
Remote access to a transformer monitoring system (TMS) with server running on a windows platform can be provided in different ways: using a web server and a web browser, using programs for remote access, or developing special server and client tools. As measurement results show, none of two first solutions has met the desired requirements (to provide easy access to multiple systems, even through slow connections), and a special TCP based protocol has been developed. Server and client communication tools were developed and integrated in the server and the client applications.
