Sažetak
The paper gives comparative analysis of properties of coatings applied by thermal diffusion technology, classical V-coating and V-coating with prior carburization, used as protection against abrasive wear. Properties of coating hardness values, base material hardness underneath the coating and abrasive wear resistance of the coating are compared. The comparative analysis proved justification for introduction of carburization of the base material prior to V-coating process, because of abrasive wear resistance increase.
