Sažetak
This paper sets the rules and procedures for improving digital letters in the area of individual script letters. The initiative for this research is based on the growing need to have a personal script in the personal computer and to use such a font in „ personal communication“ . Research results are based on the work carried out by some hundred different persons in creating their personal scripts. Laboratory exercises were carried out with some hundred students in making a personal script letter. Mistakes were systemized and this set the path to classification of procedures for simplifying script digitalization. Two areas have been researched: thickness values and letter cut. The letter cut is researched as a general blackening and as line deviation in the upstroke and down stroke lines. The work is limited to experiments with uniform strokes in the system Type 1 area. Identical solutions may be used in other digital procedures for creating letter signs.
