Sažetak
As web portals are the most common way of presenting and organizing contents on the Internet, it is not surprising they have found their way into the field of management and organization of knowledge, as a complex activity of any organization or institution. An educational portal might assume different forms, e.g. an educational portal of an institution of higher education, or an intranet portal of a major company. In this paper, we will give an overview of the development of educational portals, their use in teaching process, or as an additional help in students and professors’ work. We will also describe the educational portal integrated with AHyCo (Adaptive Hypermedia Courseware) LMS (Learning Management System). The portal is intended to be used by higher education teachers and students interested in e-learning issues.
