Sažetak
The paper is based on using the Uniform Geometrical Theory of Diffraction (UGTD) for calculation of propagation losses in urban (or suburban) environments based on simple two ray model, widely used in many studies. Gained results for a city street with uniform building height are compared with ones obtained with implementation of Knife Edge (KE) model. For that purpose, field strength variations across and along the street and with variable receiving antenna height have been calculated. We showed that these results match well for exploited example. UGTD provides much better valuation of building geometry.
