Sažetak
Stroke is one of the major medical problem in elderly patients but also in yunger patients. One of the risk factors for stroke is atherosclerosis and atherosclerotic plaques. Nowdays ultrasonography gives us numerous possibilities to noninvasively explore cerebral arteries and diagnose mild, intermediate and severe stenosis of carotic arteries, as well as measure the degrees of stenosis.
