Sažetak
The results of steel quenching and phenomena in steel during the quenching depend on primary properties of steel, on conditions of heating up to austenitizing temperature and on conditions of cooling. An optimal choosing of relevant factors for prediction of steel quenching results is very important for successful simulation of quenching. The paper presents results of the research connected with usage of artificial neural networks in predicting the volume fraction of the phase constituents occurring in steel after the quenching.
