The convergence to information-communications systems required a dynamic world of technology integrating voice, video, data and information bases available on demand with full interactivity. The development of full service information-communications systems is dependent on information providers, designers, software houses, operators of networks and business users. The process of creating integrated information-communications systems closely allies elements of all these activities, therefore the term convergence. These integrated systems are not likely to appear suddenly, but advanced integrated systems will inevitably grow toward the vision of the full services information-communications systems.
