Sažetak
This paper addresses the notion of agent as used in many contemporary theories and argues that it should be replaced by a more basic notion, effector. It is argued that many instances of agents are in fact not agentive at all and are better characterized in terms of effector. It is also shown that this role underlies the traditional instrument and force roles as well.
