Sažetak
CROFlora is a data base system for specimen-orientated and species- orientated systematic and taxonomic work on Croatian Flora. This application is multiuser and multitaskig, based on Microsoft NT Server platforma. It is designated to handle all kinds of data that are normally used in systematic botany and floristic work. CROFlora database contains several main modules: (1) herbarium, (2) systematic/taxon, (3) field data (4) geography (5) literature, (6) authors index and (7) ecology. If data are obtain from literature of from herbarium specimens, cross references can be entered easily. Nomenclature information is coded in a special table. This part of program makes it possible to find all records of a taxon and its synonyms in different publications or all species mentioned in one paper. Also the all taxon findings (literature data source, field observations and herbarium specimens) in selected localities (descriptive, UTM, or MTB square) could be easily listed. The reports include check list production in several different ways, herbarium labels printing, the different searching results, etc. Internet interfeca, already finished, are not available for public jet.
