Sažetak
The work presents the significance and development of E-commerce in air transport. Many principles of E-commerce were in fact developed under the umbrella of air industry. Certain moments on the market have contributed to its rapid implementation and widespread use. However, in spite of numerous advantages brought about by E-commerce, certain problems and risks also occurred, which required response of the modern market. The future is going the even greater application of electronic means in the distribution of capacities, and air carriers have to face complete change in the method of operation in general.
