Sažetak
Introduction and aims: Quantitative and even more qualitative distrubances of serum lipids are frequently found in chronic haemodialysis patinets (HD). Increased triglycerides and VLDL-cholesterol, slightly increased or normla total and LDL-cholesterol and decreased HDL cholseterol are the most frequent findings. The study compared lipid profiles between continetantal and maritime groups of chronic HD patinets. The aim was to deteremine the influance of regionally diffrenet dietary habits on lipid profile. Continenetal people eat more ppork and animal fat, while martitime population consumes more fish and olive oil.
