Sažetak
This paper presents a survey of the semantic study of (spatial) prepositions in cognitive linguistics. It shows how cognitive semantics can fruitfully describe the conceptual/semantic information in (spatial) prepositions in terms of a family-resemblance network of interrelated meanings. By way of illustration, it examines the range of spatial usages of the Dutch preposition in and the spatial and non-spatial usages of the Dutch preposition door.
