Sažetak
Detection of increasmg Ca > Mg and , perhaps Si > Sr concentration in the hair is an early warning sign of osteoporosis in men and women. In contrast to the metabolically active "equilibrating" role of the bone, hair is the memory tissue", a longitudinal integral abolic activity over the time. Results supports the view that osteoporsis isdogenous, irreversaible demineralization processwith calcium loss as its most prominent feature
