Sažetak
Although considered as the secondary system, the DC supplay system represents vital part in power plant operation. Possible malfunction of that system can couse substantial damages to primary equipment and the whole substation. As already shown in real life, inadequate protection of the DC supplay systems was the main reason that caused improper system functioning. This paper presents the approach to the DC supplay system protection and prpopses the main guidelines in its reconstruction and design. The paper also shoes detected irregularities in existing DC systems protection and the problems that such irregularities could cause.
