Sažetak
Ions adsorption of surfactants and other species on textile surface plays an important role in wet textile processing.It is well known that cationic surfactant show high adsorption on negative textile surface compering with anionic surfacant wich adsorption on textile surface is very low.An adsorption study of series of anionic surfactans,Ba(OH)2 and water on mercerized cotton fibre was performed.The material used was raw and bleached mercerised cotton yarns.Regardless wheter it is done under the tension or not,mercerisation process increases chemical reactivity of fibre,due to fibre recrystalization of cellulose chains during mercerisation.
