Sažetak
The aim of this paper is to determine influence of convection drying in a laboratory drier on starch content and the yield of ethanol in three different corn hybrids in the same vegetation group FAO 400 (Bc 462, Stefania and 36T58)in a two-year research period. The content of starch, the reducing sugars and glucose were not significantly related to the quantity of the produced ethanol. It leads to the conclusion that that the botanical subspecies of corn hybrid has a bigger influence on the yield of ethanol in relation to the above mentioned.
