Sažetak
The advent and development of information and communication technology(ICT), among other factors, has set the stage for the convergence of memory institutions (libraries, museums and archives) and their philosophies, content and services. However, it is still questionable how their services, especially value-added services supported by digital technology, are perceived and used by users. The aim of this paper is to present the current situation regarding the digitization of cultural heritage material in Croatia and give a short overview of digital services offered by Croatian archives, libraries and museums. Also, a preliminary report of a research conducted so as to gain data on (average)Croatian citizens' knowledge and use of memory institutions'(digital) services.
