Sažetak
Croatia is included in the list of postsocialist countries where in recent years some transitional processes have been occuring simultaneously, and where transition of the economy is surely one of the most significant and complex processes. Transition in the Croatian economy, as in other postsocialist countries, is occurring under very similar circumstances, in conditions of the structural breakdown of the former state system, in the breakdown and loss of markets in socialist countries, in the privatisation of former state-owns firms, as well as in the technical-technological backwardness and loss of export potentials. Alongside the above-mentioned problems, Croatia has also had to face yet another great problem, i.e. how to straighten out and partially implement the transition of its economy during wartime.
